Campus Life

Learning that extends well beyond the classroom

Outdoor education, service, the arts and sport are core to a UWCSEA education — not extras.

Outdoor education

Compulsory expeditions from Grade 3, culminating in the Grade 10 Personal Expedition — building resilience, teamwork and environmental stewardship outside the classroom.

Service learning

Every student partners with local and global communities, from campus-based initiatives to the wider network of UWC service projects.

Co-curricular activities

Over 200 CCAs across sports, arts, academic clubs and student-led initiatives, with competitive teams in the Singapore inter-school leagues.

Boarding

Boarding is available from Grade 8 at Dover, with dedicated houses, pastoral staff and a full weekend activity programme for boarders.

Student wellbeing

Pastoral care runs through tutor groups, House events and a dedicated counselling team at every section. Homeroom and advisory time is built into the weekly timetable so every student has an adult who knows them well, and wellbeing check-ins happen throughout the year alongside academic reporting.
