Learning Support Assistant

Join our Learning Support team at East Campus, working closely with classroom teachers and specialists to help students with diverse learning needs access the curriculum.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-class and small-group support to students with identified learning needs, under the guidance of Learning Support teachers
- Help implement individual learning plans and accommodations
- Support students' organisational, social and self-regulation skills
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and share observations with the Learning Support team
- Work collaboratively with classroom teachers, parents and specialists
- Assist with the preparation of adapted learning materials
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Education, Special Education, Psychology or a related field
- Prior experience supporting students with learning differences, in a school or similar setting
- Patient, nurturing approach with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexibly as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Basic understanding of common learning differences (e.g. dyslexia, ADHD, autism spectrum) preferred
- Part-time role, term-time only, mornings
